Bridgton Duo Drawing Attention

Bridgton Academy's duo of Markus Crider and Darrick Wood are both drawing the attention of college coaches. 

 

 

Bridgton Academy has two of the best available players left in New England in Markus Crider and Darrick Wood, both of whom previously committed to Big East programs.

Crider made a verbal commitment to former Providence head coach Keno Davis last spring before opting for a post-graduate year and re-opening his recruitment while Wood committed to St. John's this fall, only to de-commit a few months later.

The Super 16 Showcase originated as a one day live AAU event for the top teams in the northeast and evolved into one of the top Memorial Day events on the east coast.
