Auguste announces his top 8 schools heading into the school year. 

There was a reason why Zach Auguste couldn't remember all the schools that had offered him a scholarship on Monday, and that was because in his mind many of them weren't in play anymore. 

The New Hampton forward announced his top eight schools on Tuesday night but continued to maintain that he may cut a couple of other schools by the time the summer comes to an end.

Still in the mix for the highly talented four-man are Florida, Marquette, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Providence, and Auburn. 

Now cut from his list are about a dozen other high-major programs who had offered him a scholarship. 

Auguste had a tremendous summer, especially in the second half of the month when he played to rave reviews in both Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
