BABC ran away with u15 and u16 championships at the Hall of Fame Championships.

BABC ran away with championships in both the u15 and u16 divisions at this weekend's Hall of Fame New England Championships.

The freshmen squad knocked off two New York teams en route to the final, defeating New Heights 83-50 in the quarterfinals and then Riverside Church 83-38 in the semfinals, before defeating Expressions Elite 67-49 in the final.

The victors were led by head coach Eggie McRae and used an eight man rotation of Bonzie Colson, Tyree Robinson, Bobby Ahearn, Joey OConnell, Damian Smith, Curtis Cobb, Johnnie Vassar, and Jonathan Joseph.  The championship comes on the heels of a buzzer beater loss in the finals of last weekend's Boo Williams Invitational.

The BABC sophomores saw similar success by knocking off the Connecticut Knights 78-24 in the quarters, the Rhode Island Hawks 60-50 in the semis, and the Mass Rivals 60-25 in a finals rematch from a day earlier.  The Rivals were playing without leading scorer Jared Terrell, but were held to just 8 second half points by the BABC defense.  The u16 BABC squad is now 110-1 over the course of the last two AAU seasons according to head coach Leo Papile.

The u17 final saw Connecticut Select make a deep run to reach the tournament finals before being met by a talented New Heights squad from New York, who ultimately took the title.

Crusader 22 Productions was also on hand this week and has put together a highlight video of the top five plays including highlights from Ricardo Ledo, Zach Auguste, Andrew Chrabascz, and Noah Vonleh
