Windsor High School will hold their annual Hoops for Food event on Saturday to benefit the Windsor food bank.
Windsor High School and head coach Ken Smith will hold their annual Hoops for Food jamboree on Saturday, featuring 24 of the top high school teams in the Connecticut area and benefitting a great cause in the Windsor food bank.
The event serves two purposes in that it provides some of the best teams in the state with a terrific opportunity to see some early competition while also teaching the players about giving back to their community as all of the 24 teams and attending spectators are required to bring non-perishable food items in lieu of any registration or admission fee.
